Good afternoon Beverley. I agree mostly with Steve. Let your Disney planner know of your situation and make sure they include the information in all areas of your reservation notes not only with dining. This information will carry with you on your trip and should make things easier. Always mention to the Cast Members where you visit about special needs. They should see it and already making plans as best they can to accommodate you. Next,,, you need to tell your planner about your Birthday celebration. You can then enjoy the little extra something that many establishments have for the celebrant. Crystal Palace will give the Birthday Boy a card signed by all the characters there and usually a cupcake with a candle. It's been that way for us the past years. The noise is average to a family restaurant. It is a buffet so there is more movement in the restaurant to the buffet. The characters make the rounds so have an autograph book and camera ready for some cute pictures. I would suggest

It's not bad. Everyone else mentioned letting the hostess know, I'll go one step farther and say talk to talk to your trip planner at Disney. Information like that will be put in Disney system and will immediately show up when a host or hostess types in your name or your magic bands are scanned.

Disney is very accommodating to anyone with special needs. Be sure to let the hostess know when you both check in for your reservation and the person who brings you to the table.

Like what Michelle said the place is not very loud but it is pretty busy with people walking by certain tables if you got a table in a corner it wouldn't be as bad definitely a lot of stuff going on

Beverly, the noise is a moderate level. Common to any larger restaurant with kids. I would let the person know your situation and ask for an area that is the most quiet. I'd bet they can accommodate your request. Price is comparable to most dining on Disney. I would suggest purchasing the dining plan for your visit.
