The tour is about a half mile at a slow pace. There are benches throughout the sanctuary so you can stop and rest as you need. Many people have no problem getting around with a walker. If it is too much for you, however, you just need to let one of the volunteers know and we will drive you around on a cart to make sure you see everything. I hope that answers your question and that you will come see us soon.
As stated in previous posts, there is some walking as you travel the paths to see the animals. Is you have a seated walker, you should be able to do the whole tour. Sometimes it is more interesting to observe while lagging behind the tour group, the animals seem more active until the next group arrives. There is also a presentation with a covered and seated beach area.
Its wide hard packed dirt paths. The tour has you walk a little then they stop and teach a bit about the animal. But you can also explore on your own and skip the tour so you can decide how much walking you would like to do. I think there are a few benches but im not 100%
It's not a large location. I'd say there is a small amount of walking. However, it is mostly if not all dirt so a walker might be tough depending on the type and how much you rely on it.
