Go to 151 east 151st street in the bronx Bring all documents such as birth certificate, social security card, your id, a letter from the person your staying with that states the reason you can't stay there, a 2yr living history of all places you stayed from February 2016 to February 2018 with landlord name and phone number. You can go at any time. Place is 24hrs. If you go after 5pm you will get an over night stay then be brought back by bus in the am the next day. Please try not to bring a lot of stuff with you. You will go through a metal detector before entering. No food can be brought in. If you have a child under two yrs old you can bring baby food, milk and water. Kids over two they will give bagged lunches to the kids. They have pampers if you don't have any. The process is a headache yet it's worth it. You will be placed for 10days until the staff prove you have no place to stay. You will get notice if you eligible or ineligible. Your welcome and good luck.
