My husband, our daughter and my husband's aunt are in CT and we are living in a hotel. My mother in law suggested i come down to path to get help because here in CT there isn't help like down in ny. Would they take all of us?

We already get food stamps here in ct and our insurance is the state insurance for ct. I dont wanna go there if we're gonna end up on the streets when we literally have no place to go. The hotel is being paid for by my aunt in NC so i could try and find work and a place

Yes but they put u and ur family thought to much bs but make sure you have all ur info that you and your family was staying in a hotel and be sure not to tell them that you have family members in CT because they will try to say that u have a place to stay with ur family and will find u ineligible and lie and say that they can't help you but they have all the information and resources to help you out with housing Foodstamps and Cash assistance

They will definitely take you your husband and your daughter but they might not take your aunt because she's not considered immediate family. If it was your mother your father or even your husband's mother and father it would be no problem but tell your aunt it may be a bit of an issue
