It has a Christ-centered residential life recovery program designed to help men reclaim their lives following homelessness and/or addiction. What started as a ten-bed shelter in 1964 can now house over 40 men in the year-long program and sees an average of 70 men enter the doors of the Frederick Rescue Mission with the intention of getting their lives back each year. As part of the program, the men must also give back by working at the Frederick Rescue Mission serving their community.
