I am flying into your airport in a couple of weeks, and I am arriving a few hours earlier than the rest of my party. Can I leave my luggage safely in the baggage claim area until they arrive and we can all go down together?

I wouldn't leave any luggage unattended in any airport at this time. Just my opinion.

It is a small airport. There is a website, I don't know if there are lockers for luggage. You cannot leave bags unattended in any airport. I have purchased carts and just wheeled my luggage while I wait. Even into the bathroom. Not fun. I just flew out of RSW Ft Myers. It is very hot now during the daytime, so waiting outdoors could also be tough.

Please do not leave bags unaccompanied at an airport. Due to safety and security regulations, lockers and luggage storage is not permitted at Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW). Unclaimed luggage is collected and held by the individual airline for that luggage's originating flight. The airport does not handle passenger luggage. Each individual airline is responsible for their customers' checked bags. Thank you
