TROSA is set up to both get you sober AND functional. During your time there, you learn many skills, including coping skills for your personal life AND professional skills that make you contributive to society and give you self-awareness of with and societal input. They work with each patient to see where your interests and abilities are. They people who work at TROSA in administrative position, at the retail store, at the auto repair shop, at the framing shop, at their moving company, in the TROSA band, and other positions are all residents and patients, growing their skills while there. This means graduating the program is both for sobriety, but leaving with a sense of ability to have a resume and job experience.
