Can we take dry paint cans to the Solid waste center in Hillsborough, NC

Yes you can...dry EMPTY (just the bottom coated) cans can be taken to any of the solid waste centers. Cans with a more than that (dry or wet) will have to goto the hazardous waste center(s). One located on Eubanks Road in chapel hill, and the other inside the walnut grove center. Also check the bottom of the cans...if it's plastic it goes in the bulky items bin, and if it's metal it goes in the metal bin (empty cans of course ). Hope this helps you...
