Great 5th Generation Family Farm that has wonderful fresh produce. The Walker's take great pride in their vegetables that they sell ie tomatoes, corn on the cob, okra, cucumbers etc etc!!! Wonderful family that works hard bringing quality food to our tables including beef also! They sell hay also. Vegetable stand hours Monday-Friday 9am to 7pm and Sunday 1pm-6pm at 2721 Walker Road Hillsborough. They also sell the downtown Hillsborough Eno River Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings!

We love fresh vegetables, but can’t have a home garden this year. So we have made weekly visits to this store, loading up on tomatoes, cucumbers, okra, and the sweetest melons ever. The store is in a small metal building set back off the road. Look for an old uhaul type truck that sits in front, hiding the door. It’s staffed by Gaye Walker and family. She is always eager to help, explaining what is ready to eat now and what can hold for a few days. She is open 7 days a week, from 9 to 7, but 1 to 6 on Sunday. Please stop and help a local farm family to continue doing what they love.
