The mile long Poet's walk through the estate was peaceful and lovely. The stretch where it touches the eno is serene, albeit a lot of bugs in the summer!

Beautiful day here today. The grounds are immaculate and the walk is delightfully tranquil. Gorgeous views of the Eno and if you look closely you'll find plenty of wildlife. Enjoy this magical place tucked away near downtown Hillsborough.

No it's used as a venue
The trails are open daily, I believe 8 to 5 during the winter. The house is by tour only, however. The trails are beautiful and the whole place is wonderfully maintained. It is one of my favorite places to walk my dog.
