They never charged me for an estimate. However the exception would be if the car has to be taken apart to look at the problem, or the door disassembled to fix the window, for ex. Then yes, there's a charge to check what's wrong. I really like the personnel here. It's just like many dealerships where the parts are very expensive and they have very little play to give you a break on labor costs. If money were no object I'd always bring my Fords here... It's a clean shop with nice workers and they always did good work.
Im sure they will take care of it after they look at it to be sure plan on paying for an estimate anyway
