Definitely check with the hotel. We booked through a 3rd party site and arrived to find out that we had been booked for the previous night. We had our receipt from the 3rd party site showing the correct dates. The hotel honored it, apologized for the mistake and even upgraded us, which was a pleasant surprise. Everything turned out great, but we could have been left stranded had the hotel been fully booked.
I would give them a call if you are uncertain. I booked through a 3rd party site. Good hotel though.
