This place may be a little dated, but it was clean and comfortable. The rates are very reasonable and the staff welcome you like family. I was a little disappointed that they stopped serving a full breakfast and replaced with a continental spread. I later found out that they are going to do major renovations! I would definitely stay again!! Would also recommend to all my friends and family!!

This place was pretty incredible. Very accommodating. Right by just about anything you could need be it clothing, groceries or food. Id never been out that way and was there for the trauma center for a family member. The drive to altoona hospital is short and after seeing the other options for the area i was greatful we picked this one.. They're pricing is reasonable and right there with the other surrounding hotels. Indoor Pool was awesome and pretty big. Great pillows and blankets. Treat yourself to the cotton candy at the front desk.

The rooms are far from grand. The carpet is old, our coffee maker was very old, bathroom really needs updated. It smells like the pool every where you go. Beds are pretty comfortable and the pool area is really nice.

First off this place might have been grand 50-60 years ago but it’s definitely not grand now, we came up to Altoona for a little vacation get away and watch trains.. All furniture is scratched every room has something else. Different colored patches on the carpet, different colored doors, wouldn’t even give me a new room key because they weren’t in my name.. don’t get me wrong this is a nice place, nice pool but the rooms suck pretty bad.. staff were really nice, bar was nice also. Only thing is it needs an upgrade.
