Yes, they are quite shaded. I was there this week and there was very little sunshine in the campground at all. The trees were mostly deciduous so there should be quite a bit more sunshine once the leaves fall.
The campground I stayed did have lots of trees and very shaded. I went in the beginning of September. It wasn't too cold during the day, but the temperature dropped significantly in the evening.
