Should we visit it in winter (February) or should we wait for summer??

There is more water in the canyon as well as the waterfalls in the spring. Much prettier then...

I'd say summer because parts of it are closed off in winter

The gorge trail doesn't open till May.

It all depends on the weather the past few days actually have been in the 50s which is rare in February. If you get a day like that I'd say go because it really won't be crowded. If you go during the summer especially on a nice weekend you'll be fighting crowds for sure
