You would have to walk really far. It's not safe especially now
Summer would be best. They have a van that picks up and drops off at the beginning and end of the trail.
You can really only see a few falls from safe spots. Even those are not easy to get to unless you have proper foot wear. The trails are difficult to maneuver, and wet in areas where some falls cascade from overhead. There are many stairs in some spots, and narrow access to some areas. Probably not a good spot , esp because if you have an emergency a mile in the trail, its very difficult for help to arrive. Hope this helps!
The best and most popular is the Gorge trail. It is a 1.5 mile total and you can see the very beautiful Cavern Cascade and Rainbow steps. There are stairs and a tunnel along the way. I didnt think there was anything particularly dangerous.
You can see some of the falls..frozen now!..but it is a very long hike to see everything
