Was this over phone. Certain car manufacturers require certain oils. Not generic. Always get a name of person quoting the price over the phone. Did u have something else besides oil change? Like air filter.
They have never done that to me, but it could have been for a specific reason? I would call and ask the manager just to clarify what happened, couldn't hurt.
