Regardless of your feelings about declaw, the vet was very inappropriate…..prior to this I liked this clinic and had another cat declawed and fixed there in the past. I won’t be returning, I now see a different vet. The vet there was very inappropriate when I wanted my cat declawed, grabbing my hand and demonstrating where the claw would be removed in what I felt was an emotionally negative way. After the procedure, he put the bag of claws in my cat carrier, which was found by the girl at the desk, as she checked me out. She quickly removed it, but his intention was for me to find them at home. If he doesn’t want to do the procedure, he shouldn’t offer it.
