I know they said the habitat was not but enough so it got relocated
Not sure which elephant you mean, but the internet seems to point to relocation due to the habitat not being large enough
Elaphants have already moved to sactuary, but in future they will receive them back as said in their master plan Other former animals included an okapi, indian rhinoceros, giant anteater and african wild dogs
The philly zoo would need to give up 1/3 of there total land to keep elephants that's why they dont have them any more. Over the last 20 years regulations and laws have destroyed the philly zoo. They also havent had elephants in over decade.
The zoo's three African elephants, Petal (50), Kallie (24) and Bette (23) will move to The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore. The zoo's sole Asian elephant, Dulary (42), will move to The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee.
At Maryland zoo for the habitat expansion
I believe it was relocated to Cincinnati zoo
Not enough room wrnt to pittsburgh elephant sanctuary
Hmmmm..... you know, i'm not sure.
