Fill the warrant form that come with the TV for replacement, then call Wal-Mart customer service to report. I am sure they tell you to return it back to the store on Springfield with the fill warrant form for replacement. Make sure you still have the same package box for the TV.
I'm quite sure the warranty will cover it especially if you just purchased it cal the customer service and it shouldn't be a problem I never had any problems with Wal-Mart returning damage merchandise that I had nothing to do with it. Good luck!!!
