We celebrate and practice the gifts of the spirit and follow the instruction for their usage as given in 1 Corinthians 12 and 14. We believe the gifts are for building up, encouraging, and strengthening the church. If someone speaks in tongues publicly, there should be an interpretation. When the gifts of the spirit are used in a service, we take it as an opportunity to explain what they are and what is happening so that anyone listening can understand and be encouraged.
