For some of the very big PPV events they don't buy in because the cost to the store is massive, and they don't make it up because people arrive very early and stay in the seats a long time relative to their tabs. Call ahead.
I think the one in Cookeville is charging a $20 cover.
I haven't checked but typically no charge. Just need to get there REALLY early. I'd call 1st just to be on the safe side.
