They do have a troubleshooting charge of $85 and that is subtracted from the cost of the repair.
Bose has discontinued field service and no longer provides parts for their product. We can take care of simple issues if we don't need parts proprietary to Bose. If the cd drive is not working properly and needs replacement, then you would have to go directly through them for service or upgrade.
