My ion profile turntable needle always tries to return to the cradle instead of playing the record. I can usually 'persuade' it to play eventually. Is it worth fixing/fixable?

I'm no pro, but I'll have a go at trying to track down an answer. Take your record off spin and just use your finger to spin the plate a few times until it cycles.** Came up as a fix. Hope that helps. ;0

Sounds like the tonearm is out of alignment and needs to adjusted. Our shop minimum is $95.00. If this is an ION turntable you may want to look online for how to adjust it yourself since this is an inexpensive turntable. There are several youtube videos as well as helpful hints through turntable forums online. Google ION turntable tonearm adjustment.
