Most of the areas I went to were pet friendly. I would recommend calling the Rangers office to make sure your intended area will be
Most national parks are pet friendly with a few minor pet rules something you should be doing anyway just for the safety of your pet and the public always have them on a leash and some Parks have designated pet areas but as jesse C said I would also call the local rangers office in that area and always remember our pets are just like us they need water to so bring plenty especially this time of the year always be safe and enjoy our national Parks follow all rules and regulations you and your family will have the time of your life
It depends on where you are. Hiking trails sometimes don't technically permit animals, but campsites and picnic areas are fine if they are on a leash. My guess is that a ranger would just give you a warning if it's a "no animal" area.
yes, we seen alot of dogs on leashes
With leash
Yes
They said no.
Depending on were you camp, pets are welcome. I found free camping,so pets no problem
Like most have said parts are doing friendly but trails are off limits. Wild life could see this as a food source.
Not only was it wheelchair accessible there's a pathway but I did see people walking their dogs on a leash
