Highly doubt they allow pets, but the neighborhood is one of Charlotte's most sought after. Literally across the street (Providence, pretty busy) are several restaurants. My favorite is Stagioni. They've won several awards, and it shows. Possibly the best Italian food in town. Russ makes THE BEST drinks and the manager LeeAnn could not have been any more accommodating. She even remembered us when we came back months later (in a good way).
My room had a tv and a dvd player. It was small but everything was super comfortable...like nice towels, sheets. There was a breakfast in the hotel. I didn't use restaurant vouchers but i think you would probably need to drive. It was almost in a residential area, but the high end area of Charlotte. What was cool about this hotel was the gardens and everything was just comfy. I didnt ask about the pet policy.
My son works there and he highly recommend this establishment. Much Love
