I am flying from Asheville to Omaha via Charlotte. Is 37 minutes between flights enough time to board the Omaha flight?

Tight but doable

Tight schedule. I would always advice at least an hour between flights in case there is a delay in de-planing.

Charlotte is mostly set up by airline. If your flights are the same airline, the gates won't be far away from each other. Also, if your arrival and departure times are 37 minutes apart that's going to be very tight. If your arrival and boarding times are 37 minutes apart you should be fine.

Since you're flying to and from smaller markets you're gates shouldn't be far from each other. It's tight but doable... Check to see if your flight is the last flight of the day in each direction. If it is the last flight and there's a weather delay etc you may want to have a contingency plan... Hotel, etc.
