Smoking areas are typically outside and will have a sign guiding you to the designated areas.

If you're unable to find a place to sneak a drag in the airport, you can usually catch a smoke in the airplane lavatory, you'll just need to disable the smoke detector first.

There are designated areas, just follow the signs.

Exiting security isn't too bad... If you have to connect to a flight in the e gates, it might take a while however.
