Having tried Walkers in the past, we have discovered events of skaters falling over the walkers and injuring themselves, as well as becoming an obstacle for other skaters on the floor. Although skating walkers can provide stability and comfort for young skaters, it also teaches young skaters an incorrect motion for skating. This can in turn actually hinder the learning process. Although this opinion is not held by all skating rink owners, we believe learning to skate naturally leads to a better end result later in life.
