My Yorkie came from the Animal Society...1) I used the voucher for checkup and discovered she had worms in her stool. 2) took her back to the Society and they gave her meds...and NEVER use the vet for med. Go to low country vets for your meds and vaccines. Watch what you feed your pet...it can save you TONS of money and unnesassary test.....

I believe the voucher only is for the visit itself, not any other tests or meds. However if you take the paperwork from the vet to the shelter they may give you the meds needed.

After you adopt, you get a wellness visit paid for by Charleston Animal Society. I don't think meds are included.

I know they did the check up then wanted to charge me 90 dollors for med I thought it would.not cost at all when we got her from animal society I took her the next day after I got her

They give a free voucher to see a Veterinarian on the list. You have 2 or 3 weeks and it expires. There is a vet in Summerville on Bacon's bridge I think
