I have a zero turn ariens 18 h.p. I get fire up to my coils but not my spark plugs. Could the coils be bad? Plus to turn over motor, have to do it thru the solenoid.

hi, Richard! If you are having to turn the engine over though the solenoid, you most likely have a safety switch that is causing you not to start through the solenoid. That can cause the ignition coil not to have spark. We don't service the Ariens equipment, but I just thought this might help. Nichols Equipment would be your servicing dealer.
