You will have to have a title to register that vehicle. Visit the title office in our Cranston headquarters to order a duplicate title. Depending on the origin of the vehicle, they may be able to produce one for you. You will also need to visit a Rhode Island police department and have a VIN check to done. Call your local police to see whether and when they conduct VIN checks, as most do it on limited schedules.

Nope, you have to have the title and get a vin inspection before you can register it
