If you changed your name in the process, you will need your most-recent marriage certificate (issued by a government agency -- not a minister or church). If you have a divorce decree, it would be useful to bring that along in case a clerk has a question about the name change(s) or sequence of events. Like all REAL ID applicants, you also will need proof of your Social Security number, a birth certificate (again, issued by a government agency -- not a hospital or church) and two documents proving your Rhode Island address.
