Swimming area is currently closed, so the park is very quiet and sedate. Otters were using the swimming area to play when I last visited
Not for kayaking/boarding unless she's a spring chicken. But definitely a chill place. Maybe gopro a trip down the run, or better yet- live stream it and let her watch. She'd probably LOVE that!

We went on a week day and camped and it was very peaceful and quiet. No swimming open right now so we just walked the trails and hung out at the campsite.
It's very tranquil, but the swimming side is closed so just keep that in mind.
