I was treated very rudely and they denied me because they couldn’t read my bank statement correctly. I am a disabled veteran in need of some food and they denied me even when I showed them how much I get from the VA monthly but they didn’t care and denied me anyways. I am very disappointed in how I was treated and they were quick to not help me.

Everyone needs to know that places like this can buy food at SecondHarvest and similar places at a great savings, so money goes much farther.
I am quite sure they would welcome the help, especially during this busy holiday season. Give them a call or contact them via website.
They are a food pantry. They help with food and household supplies. You will have to be working and can show proof of income. If you are on government assistance, all you will need is the food stamp letter and income verification. This is a very nice place and very friendly staffs.
Usually local food banks welcome volunteers and frequently offer flexible hours within reason. Your Speech Communications class sounds spot on. I wish you well in your volunteer endeavors as well as your class work!
You would need to call them and ask for the manager to confirm. The City used to have people fulfill community service with them. I would suggest to call the Rec Dept and ask to speak to manager.
I believe the week prior to the holiday but will confirm shortly.
Yes you have to register. Be there before 10 am to do it. If you go any later they will give you a few items to hold you over. They are closed in Fridays
As far as I know, they are closed Friday Saturday Sunday Try to 1st Presbyterian Church of Apopka on Friday at noon for a free lunch and if there are left overs you may get more after pm. The 1st Baptist Church of Apopka helps in many ways on Saturdays. Food clothes etc I am not sure what time. You di need an ID.
