The Administration said the the markers we're not up to code. Follow the Orange ribbons until new signs are made. They were easy to find.
I was just out there last weekend and didn't feel the orange ribbons we're terribly easy to find. Many had been blown back into the trees and couldn't be seen until you got close. Did the whole loop, and without the map I suspect we might have gotten turned around a couple of times, especially on the southern portions.
Kayak paths are rather easy to follow even without markers, which may have been carried off in a storm.
