Chris has about hit it on the head. My best friend lives there and said the lot rent goes up every year. Mortgages on block homes are less.
You buy the home and lease the land the home sits on...Lot rent is roughly $670.00 a month now...and usually will go up each year or every few years. Home prices can be anywhere from $15K for an older model to over $95K for a new, Palm Harbor brand home. It is also a 55+ age qualified community.. meaning you, or one resident of the home, have to be 55 to buy and live here.
