You bet you can. I am not sure I would swim in it though.
The park sits right on Lake Apopka shore and there is a public use boat ramp.
You can paddle Lake Apopka all you want, it's really big! But not in the Lake Apopka Restoration Area on the North shore. The drive through the Restoration Area is great. It's open Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
