There is no mold there. The hall ways are built up like a mobile home, that it why you hear a hollow sound while walking down them. Yes, they are a bit under staffed, but they have good and bad like all the rest. It is affordable and if you stay on them about something, it will eventually get done. My mom and a 98 year old lady I take care of lives there. Unfortunately, most retirement places are not up to what you'd expect for your loved ones, but I have seen alot worse.
I have good friend that has been there for 2years and is happy there. Woodlands Village has been in existence for years and with so many beautiful oak trees providing shade ,could be why 'old' smell happens.
My friend that was there passed away two weeks ago...when she was bed ridden i never saw anyone coming to her room...she died alone .
Were working on getting our grandma out of there. Understaffed and underworked if you know what I mean.
