Can you return a book to any Johnston County library?

Hi Diane, Jacquelynn is correct. You can return borrowed items (except electronics) to any NC Cardinal member library. There are over 200 branches throughout North Carolina, and you can find a list of member systems here: https://johnston.nccardinal.org/eg/opac/library/CARDINAL. While this currently includes all public libraries in Johnston County except the library in Clayton, they too will be joining NC Cardinal in early 2023. Your PLJCS library card will also work at any NC Cardinal member library, so you can borrow books when you are traveling throughout the state from Murphy in the mountains to Ocracoke on the Outer Banks.
