Nice place for a walk as long as you go in the right direction. One side seems barren of wildlife, etc but the other direction has lots of life and much better views of the river, etc. This would be a good trail to bike on too. There are tables where you can have a picnic. There's a gazebo where you could have an event. There are benches where you can sit if you get tired too. Saw lots of people walking dogs on leashes, people fishing, jogging, etc.

Nice and much needed access to the Neuse River. Downstream is the Let'lones looong beautiful stretch of river that passes property for Howell Woods.

Great place to fish with the children. Alligator Gar, crappie and cat.

Great potential but very small portion of trail is currently opened. Lots of trash tossed about. 🥴
