Hey just want to make sure I understand. You don't have to make reservations to camp here, there's plenty of space, no bathrooms, and it's free? Is that all correct?

Yes wherever a space is available you can set up camp free. I stayed there for 2 days, nice area

Usually is best to make reservations for the Grand Canyon. I stayed at the bottom of the canyon where it was free and people were more spaced out. No bathrooms. But what we did was go to the top of the canyon, ate and used the bathroom there before going down to the site and camp. There was a staff saying that there are places to take a shower but you have to pay. I didn't do that. I just campes there, watched the sunset and left to a hotel in my next stop since I was doing a road trip
