A resident or employee perk. It's a pretty good size building and sometimes they have movie night. You can also bring your own video games and gaming systems and play them here. As an employee,I was told I'd need a membership to enjoy some of the other perks offered here(like the fitness center) but still,it's a pretty good place to crash for a few hours. They have computers(and coffee!).

We were there to visit a family member and during our visit, there was a community concert at the recreational center. The atmosphere among the people was fantastic. the families and friendships were amazing. We were the outsiders, but were very welcome. A free concert and free food and drink. The people who work and live at the Canyon have my respects and gratitude. Great people, Great community.

The Grand Canyon Rec center is an excellent place for employees and residents. They have a lot to offer including rentable rooms, a weight room, a outside volleyball court and a computer lab. They rent movies, sell snacks and have weekly classes and events. They host trips and have holiday parties. I was very impressed with the excellent customer service! The employees were very friendly and helpful and answered all my questions about what they have to offer. Also the most attractive girl in the park works there.
