Great base camp location for all things South Rim of the Grand Canyon! The elk are your neighbors and make sure to not leave your sewer line out the birds will poke holes in the pipe. Sites are pretty sloped be prepared for a lot of leveling, but the location more than compensates!

We love trailer village at the Grand Canyon. Full hookups, really convenient access to the store and centrally located so no matter where you want to go, it's easy to get there from your camping spot. In warmer months we don't even bring our towed vehicle, just bikes!

I loved loved ๐ โค this RV park. It has all you need for site hookups including cable TV. Perfect location for exploring the South rim of the park. The elk roamed through different times of the day. The Yavapai Lodge is around the corner which makes the Tavern close for a dinner spot. Also, the general store is there and pretty much has it all.

Great, no frills RV park. Full hookups but critters chewed through our sewer hose. So having a backup would be helpful. We had zero shade at our site and the unpredictable wind guts made it hard to use our awning. You can ride your bike on trails from the RV park right to the rim of the Grand Canyon. And the Rocky Mountain Elk visit the campground almost everyday. There is a small supermarket just outside the campground entrance but be prepared for the higher prices. The laundry facility is not close, you will have to drive to it. And due to staff isdues closed at 1pm every day.

Same here. Was in a full hookup, large pull through site that was $45/night.
The age of your recreational vehicle is not a factor. Your 2006 camper and you are welcome at Trailer Village!
The other two answer are what we experienced in August 2018 when we were there. Have fun. The elk strolling the the park are fun to see.
No, there is some snow around and the weather can charge at any time.
Yes, Trailer Villageยฎ is the only in-park RV park with full hookups (sewage, water, and electrical with 30 amp and 50 amp sites available)
There is tent camping in the next loop over from teailer village. They also have their own showers there. ๐
Most of the sites wouldn't even have room for a normal tent. I didn't see any on our trip.
Yes, the spaces are plenty long enough.
Not at Trailer Village.
