I have elderly dad who has internet thru spectrum. He needs a land line. Do they have discounts for low income? How do they go about getting phone service added?

I, too have Spectrum internet and I am a senior citizen. They offered me a landline for just $10.00. If you want an even better deal, go online to California Lifeline and since he is on a fixed income his phone will be FREE. The state of California enacted this program a few years ago for residents exactly like your dad and I. Good luck as both options are perfect for your dad and low cost or no cost to his soc. security income.

No low income discounts that I know of. They do have a $14 cell phone plan that's really good. They use Verizon cell service.
