Is the commissary open to the public and do they take snap benefits

You must be a DOD card hold to access the commissary. Snap(?)/EBT benefits are accepted.

The Commissary is not open to all DoD card holders. It is open to anyone with Commissary benefits: Active Duty and dependents with proper DoD ID, Retired, Service-connected Disabled Veterans and their caretakers and those authorized by DECA or the DoD. The general public is not authorized to shop at the Commissary.
