No reservations are needed. Don't get a wristband for adults. Adults might join toddlers on the train ride or carousel using tickets. Only if the toddler wants to do nothing else but these two things would you need a wristband for an adult.
When my wife and i took the kids we didnt make any reservations. We just showed up and bought wristbands for the kids. Most rides adults cant ride so its not necessary to buy wristbands for adults. You dont have to pay to get in, only to go on rides.
For reservations, yes pay in advance. And yes it's worth it. Kids will love it!!!!!
