Yes but when you see chocolate covered cheesecake on a stick youre gonna want one lol. The faire is really geared towards meat eaters, which makes sense for the time period. They have turkey legs, steak on a stick, jerky, red osier roast beef with some serious raw horseradish (love it) jesters balls which is chicken cordon bleu balls fried served with honey mustard, gyros, great now im hungry. Lolol
While you are NOT able to bring in food from the outside into the park, you can leave the festival to picnic or tailgate at your car in the grassy parking lot. You are able to. Also parking isn't far away, so you don't have to lug it around with you.

Yes you can bring in food. They don't check bags
It shouldn't be an issue. Food is definitely over priced there, as is their beer. Highly recommended to bring your own lunch, but experience the turkey leg at least once! That's a staple of Renn Faire.
