I absolutely LOVE this place!!!!!!! The actors, vendors, security, and staff are outstanding and incredibly kind/helpful. There is something for everyone, old and young. From jousts and acrobates, to dirty comedians and birds of prey shows, or even a tea party with the queen; there is so much to do and see. The food is delicious, and there is at least 1 option for people with most dietary restrictions (diabetes, vegetarian, vegan, lactose-intolerent, etc.)! Some negative things to note are some prices are fairly steep, many vendors and food stalls only take cash, and the atms don't always work or have hour long lines. While it is wheelchair/mobility aid/stroller accessible it is in the woods on dirt paths with hills and trees, and rocks. Overall I definitely recommend planning ahead for shows, food and spending money but hands down suggest checking it out. Oh and dressing up in costume makes the experience extra fun but isn't required.

Fun to visit lots of shade and a range of entertainment. We have been to the North Carolina Renn fair and this one is smaller, but nevertheless worth a visit. As we were leaving the festival there was a stand with a new winery called Sterling! Good wine. The owner is a musician hence the music staff on the label!!

This is our second year attending the festival and it’s worth it. Not only are the actors and actresses on point, but even people attending dress to the 9s. Watching act, the vendors have wonderful handmade items to purchase. This year we had the fish and chips and the shrimp plate, OH MY GOODNESS, amazing. Great food, people watching, events to watch. Such a great time! I recommend getting there early and staying until the end!

After years of wanting to attend, finally made the pleasant journey to Sterling, NY for the Renaissance Festival, and, wow, was it worth it! There is so much to see and experience and enjoy here, for Lords and Ladies of all ages! From the many stage acts, which were all absolutely entertaining, to the wide variety of shops peddling unique items, to the thrilling jousting....just so many cool things to enjoy. There truly is something here for everyone. Strolling around the charming grounds of " Warwickshire" is a fantastic way to spend a summer weekend day. As they say, " the rules of everyday life are suspended for this special day of play and feasting" and I think this is the best mindset to adopt upon entry. A big shout out to the fellow " villagers" who arrived in incredible costumes of their own, and whom added to the enjoyment of all. My personal favorite parts of the day were the music and taking in the jousts. Not knowing much about jousting, it sure was an exciting sight to see. This review just scratches the surface, make a trip here and see it all for yourself, I have a hard time believing anyone walks away from a day here disappointed. Highly, highly recommend for everyone.

Yes but when you see chocolate covered cheesecake on a stick youre gonna want one lol. The faire is really geared towards meat eaters, which makes sense for the time period. They have turkey legs, steak on a stick, jerky, red osier roast beef with some serious raw horseradish (love it) jesters balls which is chicken cordon bleu balls fried served with honey mustard, gyros, great now im hungry. Lolol

No. It's an all-ages fair. If you are old enough to drink and want to drink there, you show your ID and get your hand stamped right near the entrance. That's the only place anyone will ask for an ID.
