YES, you can pay with any major CREDIT card, so long as their credit card computer systems are functioning properly. I've been there when you couldn't, and it's a pain in the arse. Always best to have a second "backup payment" method available to you whenever you go to the DMV. You can also still always pay with CASH. I believe they also still accept personal CHECKS. Besides, let's face it, if you are dumb enough to write a rubber check to a government institution, you'll deserve to get what's coming to ya.
